Into the Spider-Verse With the Miles Morales Costume
When Miles Morales first took over as Spider-Man in the Ultimate Marvel Universe, he donned a classic Spider-Man suit that was pretty much a store-bought replica of the one worn by his predecessor, Peter Parker. When he brought the suit with him to the Marvel Prime Universe in the award-winning animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, his new look was a bit more updated and modernized, but it maintained that trademark black-and-red color scheme along with red webbing and a Spider chest emblem.
As Miles continues to fight crime across the Spider-Verse in Marvel’s Spider-Man, he will unlock plenty of different suits and variations on this iconic look. Some are more functional than others, but each of them is sure to help him take down his many villains.
A recent post from Insomniac announced five fresh outfits that players can add to their Miles Morales Costume Collection. Among the looks included in the new batch are a Crimson Cowl suit that resembles a traditional superhero mask with a pair of red hoodies, a 2020 version of Miles’ Classic Suit that swaps out some of the red coloring for blue, and a STRIKE suit that resembles a basketball suit and comes with an attached backpack — perfect for hauling gear while swinging around Harlem.
Once players have cleared all the hologram challenges that Miles leaves for them, they’ll also be able to unlock the Programmable Matter suit, which gives Miles’ bodysuit the ability to shift into different forms to make it easier to maneuver in combat and pull off special takedown moves.
